• Fill in our registration form

• Pay the registration fee (£30) which goes towards our print and design costs (unless we are selling some of your tickets)

Organisation of Hitchin Festival

​

The Hitchin Festival is run by Community Interest Company Hitchin Creative.

The festival is self-financing and relies on income from sponsors, advertisers and event organisers.

​

IMPORTANT -
We ask for a voluntary contribution from all organisations promoting themselves in the programme and via our website and the Visit Hitchin site (full details below*) There are three ways you can support us when providing a listing (any one of these will help us to continue to produce and promote the festival going forward):

1 - £30 - for all organisations listing one or more events if you are offering free tickets through our box office or not using our box office.

2 - 10% of ticket sales - if you are selling tickets through our box office.

or....

3 - Taking out an advert in our programme (advertising prices available below)

Of course if you can do more than one of the above, that is allowed! :-)

BOX OFFICE ARRANGEMENTS

All details on bookings for all events free and paid will be available in the festival guide and our website/ Visit Hitchin site.

IMPORTANT NOTE - IT IS NOT COMPULSORY TO SELL TICKETS THROUGH OUR BOX OFFICE, HOWEVER FEEDBACK FROM CUSTOMERS OVER THE LAST FEW YEARS HAS INDICATED THAT HAVING AT LEAST SOME OF YOUR TICKETS SOLD THROUGH OUR BOX OFFICE IS HELPFUL AS IT MEANS THOSE WISHING TO BOOK MULTIPLE EVENTS CAN DO SO IN ONE PLACE. :-)

 

WHAT WE OFFER...

• sale of tickets from an online box office – via www.hitchinfestival.co.uk linked in with visithitchin.com and from an operated box office on selected days during June and July.

• card payments accepted online and in person.

• NB: All online bookings via Ticket source add an additional booking fee (7% +VAT per ticket) to cover debit/ credit card processing costs this is absorbed by the customer and not the organiser.

• We can advertise and distribute tickets for FREE events if needed, and these will be available on Ticket Source too.

*More details on contributions by organisers for all events:

As a contribution towards running the online Box office and publicity, there is a small charge of 10% on all ticket sales made through the Festival Box Office. Or a voluntary donation of £30 if you want to distribute tickets for a free event or just have your event listed with no tickets sold.

Separately there are opportunities for organizations taking part to contribute to the cost of the festival by buying an advertisement in the programme, and if this happens we won't ask for the £30 fee as well.

Half page (130mm wide x 90 mm deep) - £200
